Dear Friends and all who are interested in our undertakings:
LOOKING BACK ON 2005 - LOOKING AHEAD TO 2006
In this, our last Newsletter for this year, we take one last look at
2005, and the month of July stands out as a high point. In July there
were two ordination ceremonies, one on Lyons, France on 2 July and the
other on the St Lawrence River, leaving from Gananoque, Canada, on 25
July 2005, when nine women were ordained. If you have not yet seen

Since these ordinations, there have been more applications from women
who are interested in entering our Program and thereby moving towards
ordination and priesthood. Some of these women find it quite difficult
to make ends meet, or they are members of a religious congregation. At
Christmas time, there are often people who are willing to make a
donation to our growing community of R.C. Womenpriests. If you would
care to make even a small donation towards assisting these women it
would be most welcome and your donation will be used exclusively to
assist women in the program who are in need. Until further notice, we

letters to us from the Vatican, although some of our deacons have had to
face the ire of their bishops. We hope, however, that our relationship
with the Vatican is becoming less stressful and that there will be

PARTICIPATION IN AN INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM ON WOMEN PRIESTS IN PARIS:
On 20 and 21 January 2006, the French Group known as "FEMMES & HOMMES EN
EGLISE" is organizing a colloquium in Paris. The topic will be WOMEN
PRIESTS. Among the women who have been invited to participate as guest
speakers are the French theologian, Alice Gombault; the Chairperson of
WOW, Marie Bouclin; and Patricia Fresen.

The Steering Committee of WOW (Women's Ordination Worldwide) will be
meeting in London from 17 - 19 March 2006.

RETOUR SUR 2005-PROJETS POUR 2006
Lorsque dans cette dernière Newsletter de l'année nous jetons un dernier regard sur 2005 , le mois de juillet paraît un sommet .En Juillet,il y a eu 2 célébrations d'ordination, l'une en France, à Lyon, le 2 Juillet et l'autre sur le Saint Laurent, à partir de Gananoque, au Canada,le 25 Juillet au cours de laquelle neuf femmes ont été ordonnées . Depuis ces ordinations, plus de femmes s'inscrivent à notre cycle de préparation pour évoluer vers l'ordination et la prêtrise . Quelques unes ont des difficultés financières ou sont membres de congrégations religieuses.
A l'époque de Noël ,les gens sont souvent prêts à faire un don à notre communauté
en expansion de « Femmes (C.R.) Prêtres ».
