Hört man kleinen Jungs vor der Pubertät zu, so kann man vernehmen, dass
sie Mädchen "blöd" und "komisch" und "albern" finden. In der Pubertät
werden die selben Buben aber ganz anders: Sie schreiben Liebesbriefe und
werfen den Mädchen glühende Augen zu, bis sie sich schließlich verlieben
und oft auch ein Leben lang tief lieben.

   All das ist natürlich -  nicht aber bei Priestern:

Priester dürfen keine Pubertät haben. Sie müssen "Mamas braver keuscher
Bubi" bleiben bis weit ins hohe Alter hinein. Priesterbuben dürfen keine
Liebesbriefe schreiben, keine sehnsüchtigen Blicke auf Mädchen werden, sie
dürfen sich nicht heimlich nach der Maiandacht mit einem Mädchen treffen
und sie dürfen den ganzen Schatz des Liebens und Geliebtwerdens, eines der
schönsten Geschenke Gottes, nicht erfahren. Statt Liebe bekommen sie als
Ersatz Macht, Einfluß und die Möglichkeit, Frauen zu diskriminieren und
auszugrenzen.

Das machen Kleriker sicher nicht gerne, aber der Druck, gegen ihre Wünsche
und Sehnsüchte zu leben, läßt sie in Welten gleiten, in denen oftmals
nicht die Liebe wohnt, sondern in denen sich statt Sicherheit und Stärke
der ganz menschliche Argwohn, der Neid, die Eifersucht und allgemeine
kommunikative Hilflosigkeit einnisten. Die Folge: Es kommt ein immer
stärkeres NEIN ZU FRAUEN, als ursprünglich beachsichtigt und es wird
vermehrter frauenfeindlicher argumentiert, als eigentlich gewollt war.

So verwundert es nicht, dss Papst Johannes Paul II VERBOT, dass über
Frauenordination auch nur GEREDET wird und

so verwundert es auch nicht, dass ein Kardinal mit Redeverbot reagiert,
wenn eine beliebte, gebildete und bewundernswerte Priesterin auf dem
Podium in Wien im Rahmen des Jubiläums 10 Jahre Kirchenvolksbegehren
eingeladen ist, 5 Minuten zu sprechen.

Wir alle hätten sie gerne dort gehört, unsere Priesterin,  aber die große
Angst des Kardinals vor den wenigen Worten einer Frau verbaut das.

So werden am 23.4. andere Priesterinnen dort in Wien sein. Mit denen
können Sie sich sicher vor der Tür, im Fahrstuhl oder in der Eingangshalle
unterhalten.

Deshalb hoffen wir doch, Sie bald in Wien zu sehen und mit Ihnen zu
sprechen.

T H E  F E A R  T H A T  R. C.  P R I E S T S  H A V E  O F   W O M E N

If one listens to the conversation of pre-adolescent boys, one hears
that they think girls are 'stupid' or 'funny' or 'silly'.  As they go
through adolescence, however, these same boys become completely
different in their attitude towards girls:  they write loveletters and
make eyes at the girls, they fall in love and eventually they hope to
find a woman they will love for life.

All this is natural  -  but not for priests.

Priests have often experienced a lack of normal adolescent development.
They were encouraged to be 'Mother's good, pure little boy' way beyond
adolescence, often until they were quite old.  Boys whose parents dream
of their becoming priests have often not gone through the stages of
writing loveletters, of making eyes at girls, they have not been allowed
to meet a girl after 'May Devotions';  in fact, the whole normal process
of infatuation, of falling in and out of love, of finding a life-partner
with whom one shares life and love has been denied them or passed them
by.  Instead of love, they move into other paths.  The substitute for
love in their lives is often power, influence and the possibility there
is in the church to discriminate against women and exclude them.

Many priests surely do not want to discriminate against women or abuse
the power they have as clerics, but the pressure of having to go against
their natural longings and desires may lead them into paths along which
they experience suspicion, envy, jealousy and the inability to
communicate well.  One result of this may be an ever-stronger 'NO' to
women and an ever-greater fear of or even animosity towards women.

Perhaps then, we should not be so surprised that Pope John Paul II
forbade us even to discuss women's ordination, or that a Cardinal
forbids a beloved, educated and admirable woman to be part of the panel
in Vienna, when the grassroots group, We are Church, celebrates their
10th anniversary.

We would all have appreciated hearing her speak, our womanpriest, but
the Cardinal's fear has prevented her from speaking to us for five minutes.

On 24 April there will be other womenpriests present in the church hall
in Vienna.  You will be welcome to speak to them at the door or in the
passages or the hall itself.  We hope to see and speak to many of you
who live in Austria or Germany.  Here once again are the details:

LA PEUR QUE LES PRETRES CATHOLIQUES ROMAINS ONT DES FEMMES

Qui écoute une conversation de pré-adolescents garçons ,les entend dire que les filles sont «  bêtes » ou « bizarres »  ou « stupides » .A mesure qu'ils passent les étapes de l' adolescence leur attitude à l'égard des filles change complètement :ces mêmes garçons écrivent des lettres d'amour et essaient d'attirer l'attention des filles, ils tombent amoureux et en fin de compte espère trouver une femme qui sera l'amour de leur vie .
Tout ceci est bien naturel , mais pas pour les prêtres .
Souvent les prêtres n'ont pas suivi ce développement normal de l'adolescent .
on les a encouragé à être le « petit garçon à sa Maman » pur et gentil longtemps après l'adolescence, souvent jusqu'à un âge avancé .
Les garçons dont les parents  rêvent de faire des prêtres souvent n'ont pas vécu les étapes des lettres d'amour, de la séduction ,de rencontrer les filles après les processions (on pourrait dire aujourd'hui aux JMJ ?)1
Tout le processus d'apprentissage de l'amour jusqu'à trouver une partenaire pour la vie leur  a été refusé et ils ont pris d'autres voies . A la place de l'amour il y a souvent le pouvoir , l 'influence et la possibilité existant dans l' église d'exclure les femmes et d'exercer contre elles une discrimination .
Bien sûr ,beaucoup de prêtres n'ont pas la volonté de pratiquer la discrimination envers les femmes  ou d'abuser de leur pouvoir clérical mais la tension de réprimer leurs désirs et penchants naturels peut les amener à ressentir soupçon, envie , jalousie , et difficultés à communiquer  . D'où des « NON » de plus en plus fermes à des demandes de femmes , une peur qui grandit, et de l'animosité à l'égard des femmes .
C'est peut-être pour cela que nous ne devrions pas nous étonner de l'interdiction faite par Jean-Paul II de seulement évoquer l'ordination des femmes ou de celle que fait un Cardinal à une femme admirable, instruite et appréciée de participer à la table ronde qui marque le 10° anniversaire de la communauté de base « Nous sommmes église » .
Nous aurions tous/tes apprécié de l'écouter, notre femme prêtre , mais la peur qu'en a le Cardinal l' empêche de lui donner la parole ?cinq minutes .
Le 24 Avril , d'autres femmes prêtres seront présentes dans la salle de réunion de l' église de Vienne . Venez parler avec elles, à la porte, dans les couloirs ou même dans la salle . Nous espérons rencontrer beaucoup d'entre vous qui habitent l'Allemagne et l'Autriche . Rappel des coordonnées :
